With more than 15 years of extensive research experience, Dr. Lee directs and supports both the scientific and analytic aspects of the Trial Design and Development group. This group clarifies the scientific hypothesis, works with the study leadership to draft a protocol that will be executable at the sites, establishes the statistical analysis plan, and liaises with the study’s sponsor, the steering committee, the DSMB, and regulatory agencies. She joined the Baim Institute for Clinical Research in 2018.
Dr. Lee graduated from Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea, and completed an MS in Statistics from the University of Texas and a PhD in Nutritional Sciences, gaining experiences in all aspects of clinical research from study design to participant recruitment to data analysis.
As a post-doctoral fellow, Dr. Lee joined the National Institutes of Health Framingham Heart Study, Population Sciences branch after which she joined the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Department of Environmental Health, Boston Children’s Hospital in 2016. In addition to her duties as Trial Design leader, Dr. Lee volunteers at a non-profit institute supporting children with learning disabilities.
