Jean M. Connors MD

Jean M. Connors, MD is a hematology attending at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute; the Medical Director of the Anticoagulation Management Services and the Hemostatic Antithrombotic Stewardship Program; Director of Clinical Research of the Hematology Division; and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

She received a medical degree from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, completed her residency in internal medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center – East Campus in Boston, as well as fellowships in transfusion medicine and hematology & oncology from Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Dr. Connors is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Basic to Translational Science. She is a member of or holds a leadership role in many professional societies, including ASH and ISTH, AC Forum, and Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders. She has participated in or lead numerous clinical trials for patients with left ventricular assist devices and for venous thrombosis in cancer, as well as anticoagulation questions in general.
