Serge Korjian, MD

Now the Associate Director of Safety at the Baim Institute for Clinical Research, Dr. Korjian completed a research fellowship at the PERFUSE study group where he developed skills in clinical trial design, leadership, and statistical data analysis. For close to a decade, he has worked closely with Baim CEO, Dr. C. Michael Gibson, on international clinical trials including APEX, AEGIS-I, EMBRACE, and PIONEER AF-PCI. His research interests include antiplatelet therapy and anticoagulation, lipid modifying therapies, and novel devices for the management of acute coronary syndromes. Dr. Korjian completed his medical residency and general cardiology fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is now finishing an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology.
