Suzanne J. Baron, MD, MSc

An interventional cardiologist specializing in coronary and structural heart interventions, Dr. Baron is the Director of Interventional Cardiology Research at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Her clinical interests include patent foramen ovale closure, transaortic valve replacement and mitral valve replacement and her research focuses on evaluating the effects of cardiovascular drugs and devices on healthcare costs and patient-reported outcomes. She has published extensively on the topics of health economics, outcomes post procedures, quality of life, and resource utilization.

After medical school at Yale University, Dr. Baron completed internship, residency, and fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology.
