As Director of the Biostatistical Group, Mr. Xiaohua Chen leads a team dedicated to addressing the unique challenges posed by each research question. Their work involves evaluating data sources, understanding collection methods, and considering the populations represented, while also determining whether established analytic methods are sufficient or if new approaches are needed to account for missing data or complex interactions. Collaborating closely with clinical experts, Mr. Chen and his team contribute to study designs, develop analytic plans, and deliver statistical analyses that drive high-quality research outcomes.

After completing his studies at Harvard University and studying at Boston University, Mr. Chen joined the Harvard Clinical Research Institute, where he played a key role in advancing statistical infrastructure. At Baim, he has led the development of systems that generate standardized tables, listings, and graphs—tools essential for interpreting and communicating clinical trial results.
