The American Heart Association presented its newest honor, the Joseph A. Vita Award, to Laura Mauri, M.D., of Harvard Medical School and Boston’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital, for her “leadership of transformative clinical investigations identifying and clarifying optimal treatment methodologies for a variety of cardiovascular disorders.”

Spencer Goldsmith (pictured far left) is currently participating in interesting and productive meetings in Singapore with fellow International Clinical Trials Center Network co-founders and Steering Board members. While in Singapore, Mr. Goldsmith presented Baim institute’s experience during the session entitled: “Sharing of Best Practices in Site Operations Internationally.”
